2013 Survey

  1. What did you do in 2013 that you'd never done before? ~Started working in Mental Health

    1. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? It was to get healthier and I think I did get healthier I walk more, I cook more and mentally I'm doing better. This year I want to continue getting healthier and lose some weight to get to a healthy weight. I also want to get better with money.

    2. Did anyone close to you give birth? Amy had Ethan, Sam had Oscar and lots of ODers had babies like Julie and Sarah and Harriet and so on.

    3. Did anyone close to you die? My Aunt Ursie and Ellen were the main ones but I knew of lots of people who died it was quite disconcerting.

    4. What countries did you visit? I went to Greece to Rhodes and to Edinburgh in Scotland.

    5. What would you like to have in 2014 that you lacked in 2013? I wanted more of a social life and I definately got that! I want to be earning enough money to support myself.

    6. What moments from 2013 will remain etched upon your memory? My 30th without a shadow of doubt but also work!

    7. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Going back to work and continuing to stay out of hospital

    8. What was your biggest failure? Not keeping up with my OD! Overall 2013 was fab and I don't think I really had any failures.

    9. Did you suffer illness or injury? I guess bipolar is an illness so mania, depression and the like. But also I got rushed to A and E with suspected Gallbladder issues.

    10. What was the best thing you were bought? I think it would have to have been my 30th pressies!

    11. Whose behaviour merited celebration? Mine did!!! But also my Mums in 2013 we got closer

    12. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed? My brother Christmas this year was pretty horrific

    13. Where did most of your money go? My savings account (shockingly), Paying for Greece and Edinburgh

    14. What did you get really, really, really excited about? I think work I reignited my passion for work and I'm going to apply for the doctorate this year so eek!

    15. What songs will always remind you of 2013? I don't think I have one

    16. Compared to this time last year, are you: Happier or sadder: Happier Older or wiser: both Thinner or fatter: Fatter. Richer or poorer: Probably a bit richer!

    17. What do you wish you'd done more of? Written about 2013

    18. What do you wish you'd done less of? Eating and being depressed

    19. How did you spend Christmas? In Shropshire with Gilly, Andrew, Mummy, Daddy, Oliver, Arabella and Papa- it was awful and I never want a Christmas like it again

    20. How will you be spending New Year's Eve? I spent it with Mummy, Daddy and Arabella in Hampshire. It was very quiet we almost ended up in bed before midnight!

    21. Did you fall in love in 2012? No!

    22. How many one-night stands? None.

    23. What was your favourite TV program? Umm I don't know I watched a lot of Corrie, a lot of Casualty, a lot of documentaries and so on!

    24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? I don't think so

    25. What was the best book you read? I don't know! I read a lot of books!

    26. What was your greatest musical discovery? I don't know!

    27. What did you want and get? I don't know! I think I wanted to be more involved at work and I am!

    28. What did you want and not get? I wanted to not be depressed

    29. What was your favorite film(s) of this year? I watched some truly awful films but there were a few good ones like Hunger Games, Pitch Perfect and so on.

    30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I was 30! It started the day before going down to my Mums! We had a yummy supper and then in the morning it was my birthday! I headed up to London where Bekki, Lucy and Jenni met me! We had a picnic in the park and then went for supper and to see The Bodyguard at the theatre. I was staying with Jen in a lush hotel! Saturday woke up went for Afternoon Tea and then to see Billy Elliot at the theatre. Afterwards we went for cocktails and then to one of Jamie Olivers american diner things. Sunday Bekki and Jenni left and me Lucy hit the shops before heading home. On the Monday a whole group from work went down to Oxford. We had a picnic, went punting had champagne and strawberries and creams. It was amazing.

    31. What one thing made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Work

  2. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2012? Monsoon and Fat Face dresses!

    1. What kept you sane? Friends

    2. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? I don't know - how dull

    3. What political issue stirred you the most? I guess the cuts to the NHS

    4. Who did (do) you miss? Biggles and Siobhan but also Kate and other friends who I rarely see

    5. Who was the best new person/people you met? It wasn't new people instead I got reaquainted with old friends and that was amazing!
