Beauty and the Stress in Adventures in Theatre

So as of now and the creation of this account, I am less than a week away from opening in a production of Beauty and the Beast. It’s exciting! But at the same time it isn’t I guess. I’m only playing a villager. And I hate stomping on ensemble roles, I love them and I think they’re important. But at my school theater the musicals are so much better attended than the plays in the winter. And as a small fry villager part, so many people are going to come and see me and just see me as ensemble, and they won’t know that I was Ursula in A Hard Day’s Much Ado About Nothing only a few months before. Maybe that’s selfish of me. Who knows.
