I don’t know when we split, when my body was no longer hers. I don’t know how she did it, but I wish she could have taken me with her.
I found the dancing girl one day, in a forest of green, surrounded by the music of falling water and rustling leaves. Where the stream leads to anywhere and the caves shine with coloured gems.
I found her dancing. I found her free. I found the real me. Not trapped, only who she wants to be.
I wish I could trade places with my dancing girl.
