If It's 2018, Why Am I... in Everything Else

Watching a training video on workplace confrontation from the freaking 1980s, 90s at best? We are all adults, let’s see a real video that would actually represent a confrontation in today’s world. I am not saying a mass gun violence situation, but a “fuck you, you prick” and a punch, some resisting arrest. Not someone wearing shoulder pads and a claw clip in her hair having a Dynasty-light argument. What pisses me off more, is that the video is talking over the actual fight. It would be nice to know why these people are fighting. Plus in the last clip, the “actor” was having a hard time not laughing. Just once I would like a training that was actually beneficial since I have to sit through this bullshit month after month.

In other 2018 news. I am trying a new system. I am inundated by paper. PILES UPON PILES. Now I try to take at least 3 things off my pile everyday and I am not allowed to add anything to the existing piles. Anything I print or receive MUST BE HANDLED that day. My piles don’t look much smaller, but it has only been three days (I was sick one day last week.). I almost have my email cleaned up. I am waiting to hear back from one person and waiting on one invoice to clear the rest out. I also have to make a phone call, but that is either going to be this afternoon or tomorrow depending on when I get a chance since they are eastern and I am not.

I was super stressed last week. This week I am stressed, but feeling a bit more in control of some things. A lot of waiting on stuff to arrive. I am sort of pissed I placed an order almost two weeks ago and have not had any sort of response. I would appreciate a “your order is in process” or something. Especially when the seller is constantly posting photos on Instagram. Hell-fucking-o, I just gave you $140 I don’t think an email is too much to ask. I hate when shops do not have a ready-to-ship section. It would be different if I chose to customize my order, but I didn’t have that choice. I do not want personalization. Maybe if they didn’t offer so many customization options, they could produce things quicker. Do I give a Donald Trump about the color of stitching? Not really. As long as they are not using some horrid neon orange as their standard, I don’t fucking care. White, Black, Gray are all perfect choices for stitching. Nobody really pays that much attention to stitching anyway. As for an elastic color. How about a nice neutral and have additional colors options for add-ons or separate purchase? Embossing, sure, pay extra and wait longer. Me, I fucking hate hearts so I do not want one embossed on my item. I am just UGHHHH waiting for this and I think I am going to be waiting until the end of the month, which means I can’t clear my personal email until it arrives. This is why I need to stay away from Etsy and curb my YouTube viewing. Stupid enablers.
