All right, here’s a picture of my January 2018 calendar with Hermione-Granger-This-Shit post-it notes attached. I got the idea from Gone Girl - I have organized my sewing this way for the last 2 years and it really helps. I would rather write on a post-it note that I can move around than on an actual square, which invites cross-outs and ugliness that would make my eyes twitch. I also like the satisfaction of tossing the daily post-it in the trash when the job is done.

For this project, the post-its represent bi-weekly or monthly goals - up to 50 hours of work per post-it, depending on the goal. I wrote them in permanent marker to distinguish them as ‘big ones’ as compared to my daily sewing assignment post-it’s, which are in pen or pencil.
I don’t like calling them ‘goals’ because I feel like that invites failure. I’m really trying to take the Yoda ‘do-or-do-not’ mindset and not leave myself wiggle room. But it’s a bit of a chore to type ‘INEVITABLE ACHIEVEMENTS’ over and over again, so ‘goal’ will have to do. -_-;
