Okay.
It seems it has been a year since my last entry here. After the whole sudden site shutdown I had a scare and decided to move to different grounds. That was interesting. Now I don't know what I'm doing. I guess it is back to whatever random nonsense that will come to my bed. Just talking about my daily life. When it's 8 AM when nothing has yet happened. Going to see Catching Fire today. Wasn't that happy about the first movie but maybe this one will be better. Somehow the awesomeness of the book could not be captured in the film.
Anyway. What has happened since I last posted here. When I began this year my Goodreads book challenge was 33 books. Now I have read 47 and I hope I can do 50 this year. With a whole month a head that may seem simple but now I'm reading Middlemarch so... Anyway, that is largely because I started, in April, reading non-fiction history books. All those years that I called myself a history lover and now I'm actually reading it, learning something. Mostly just biographies, things with a story.
Anyway, the books I'm reading currently are:
- Stromata by Clement of Alexandria
- Middlemarch by George Eliot
- Queen Victoria: A Personal History by Christopher Hibbert
And now I really don't have time to write as I'll have to leave early today and I still have more stuff to do.
