Narnia! in The View from the Terrace

If Cat were here she would say, ‘It’s Narnia outside!’ and it is. When I woke this morning everywhere had a thick carpet of snow. The trees with their frosty white coverings are like something out of a fairy tale. And it is so quiet and peaceful as there is very little traffic on the road.


There were lots of robins around the bird feeder today. It’s usually just tits and sparrows.

I expect they were finding it hard to find any food elsewhere with all of that snow.

What a difference a day makes. This is yesterday morning,

No Christmas folk club for us tonight, I will just have to snuggle beside the woodburner and get on with the Christmas cards.
