.... is slowly killing me. Winter has finally hit and it hit hard. It went from 55 degrees to 20 as a high within a day (yesterday), and there’s no going back now until Spring which means anywhere between April and June here in Minnesota. It officially feels like 0 degrees the weather app says. The days are short, it gets dark at 4:30. I caved and took a 50 mg Zoloft last night after having an extremely hard afternoon and evening. How quickly things turned around to me running to my meds but hey, I need to feel alright to do life. And really, putting things into perspective, I’m taking 50 mg and I was on 200 mg before so I’m happy here. Once the weather turns in a few months I will go off it completely again. And I always have my tea <3 swoon.
I’m dreaming my southern California dreams; warm Mediterranean type weather, salty sea air, palm trees, year round opportunities for outdoor recreation (in comfortable weather). Sunshine, sunshine, sunshine. A light layer of clothes. Really anywhere with mild/warm climate and by the ocean I would consider. I could do hot weather, too. Not picky as long as it’s not freezing.
When I bundle up to go outside here I feel like I’m wearing a straight jacket, and with the winter weather being extremely dry there is always an itchy spot somewhere on my back where I can’t reach through the layers, especially when I’m driving somewhere.
Ok, I vented and now on to happy sunshiny things.
