I agree with what some of you have written about the privacy here. Writing a blog, as I am doing, in a public forum can be dangerous for sure - especially for someone like me who is such an open book to begin with - I have had to watch that in my professional life, for sure. Managers should not wear their hearts on their sleeves, or if they do, not share all the details of why it's bleeding!

Anyway, so I plan to continue blogging, largely to keep those interested up to date with my health. But I will write in here as well - and express whatever frustrations I need to in order to keep my sanity. So this will be like my private diary that is open to those of you who care and don't mind a little venting - about work, about relationships (especially past ones involving nasty exes), family, life in general, etc.

However! Yes, there's a however! I do want to keep things on more of an even keel than I did in OD. I think I focused too much on "me" there, and while we need to do that sometimes, life is so much more interesting when you focus on OTHER things! Having been married to two narcissists, it's easy to blame all my problems on them, or other nasty people, but I don't want to be Negative Nellie, because I really do look at the world with Hope.

Right now I have hope that my mom will test negative for C. diff, and soon go home from the hospital to continue her maintenance chemo and enjoy quality time with those she loves for at least a few more years.

Right now I also have hope that my year of chemo will keep me cancer-free for many years to come.

Right now I also have hope that these legal/financial woes will be whittled away by year-end - ok, by decade-end :-). By the time I reach 60 maybe? That's in 3 years......

I could go on and on, and frequently do, but I hear the garage door going up which means my daughter Megan is back from visiting my mom in the hospital, and we have some catching up to do!

Ok, so it's a start.

Just glad to be here and reconnect with those of you I have missed from OD! Love you ladies!!!
