Woke up at 7.30-ish or 8-ish. Went to bed at like 1am. So out of my favourites Turkey, Macedonia, Serbia and Sweden got in but Slovenia and Belarus didn't. Interestingly both Lithuania and Estonia got in though I didn't particularly like Love Is Blind. Also during the Sweden intro the narrator said that people are predicting she's gonna win. I could see that happening but I goes we'll see how much they can be trusted Saturday, when we will finally be able to watch in peace and quiet. in the meanwhile today I'll have to make cake for Oma and also some sandwiches for them.
Ate cucumbers and cake. Mood: -2.
So today I continued reading Pamela or Virtue Rewarded. You know I'm really starting to like this book. I don't understand why so many people on goodreads.com seem to hate it.The premise does sound kinda awful but once you get into it becomes... understandable, I would say. Also if it's morality is supposed to be outdated then woe to the times that would have you give up your integrity and self-respect for money and influence.
I've just finished making my cake, it's in the oven now. Later I'll make their cake. She probably thought I would make mine tomorrow or sometime during the weekend, but no. How am I supposed to go through all the trouble of making a perfect, heart-shaped cake and not even get a piece. This way I'll get a way better cocoa chocolatey (because it really tastes more chocolatey than cocoa-y) cake and they'll get a boring plain one because Iveta thinks that one is better. I told her yesterday if Oma asks why is it so plain then tell her it was her idea, not mine. Also this time I used regular sugar because we didn't have enough vanilla sugar for both (somehow I forgot that yesterday). I wonder does it make a difference? Even if it is the condensed milk is still sweet so it can't be that bad.
So they left some hour ago. At 16.30 I started making their cake with a plan that by six everything would be ready. Then I also turned on my phone and it turned out that they left work half an hour ago so nothing was done when they got home. So as a result they left at six which was a lot later than they expected. Then I also made them sandwiches, the same as yesterday. Now I feel tired. So she'll call me when they'll be at Oma's which should be around 9-ish. Hopefully she'll be surprised by my cake.
