Woke up at 7-ish. Don't know why so early seeing as how I went to bed at 12.30 or even at 1am. So I'm very pleased with Eurovision 1st semi-final results my four favourites got in - Iceland, Denmark, Hungary and Russia, and maybe Moldova but I'm not sure whether I like that much to put it amongst my favourite songs. Other five half-winners were Albania (I didn't get that song, it's not bad but I don't get it's appeal), Greece (kinda like), Romania (fairly good), Cyprus (okay) and Ireland (I don't get why, I liked Lipstick but this Jedward's song wasn't bad didn't have the same... I don't know, energy, passion, that special je ne sais quoi that made me like it). From those that didn't get in I kinda liked Finland and Switzerland. Latvia didn't get in and I can see why. The song itself I actually liked but the performance left much to be desired. She's a good singer but she didn't show stage charisma, the sort that takes you and glues you to the screen.
Ate garlic-bread, chips and potatoes. Mood: -2.
So today I started reading Pamela or Virtue Rewarded. It's not really bad, so far. We'll see how it goes.
I have no idea what I did today. So tomorrow she'll go back to work so then maybe I'll have some peace and quiet. Also this morning we had a mini-catastrophe when she realized there was no bread so I had to wait until she went to the store for my breakfast.
