So for the day I have victor's laptop to use. Kinda cool because I've never really used one before. Except that one time but that doesn't count because it didn't have internet. Anyway yesterday I kinda said I would used in Iveta's room where it was left. But then when I left to my room to watch TV after I was done with the laptop I figured - why don't I just put it on my desk? So this morning I got up from bed right after they left. Usually I would have remained in bed for a good hour or so but today I was just so excited. So I put away my keyboard and mouse (that old crappy mouse) and put the laptop on my desk so now I can use it comfortably and not just laying awkwardly on the bed like they do. I also put in my own mouse (the good one). It's not that I find it difficult to use the laptops mouse-thingy (like Iveta, I mean seriously what is so hard about that) it's just that I don't like my fingers getting all hot and stuff. So hopefully today this thing will be solved, if not I don't know how the weekend will go.

And one last thing - I never imagined that a laptop would be this heavy. I always thought that they were these light thingies but apparently I was wrong.

So I woke up around 7.30 or so meaning I slept some 9.5 or so hours.

Ate sandwiches, bananas, chips and potatoes. Mood: -2.

So today I finished re-reading Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Next week I'll start reading The Chamber of Secrets. Or maybe, if he gets the computer running I might finish Magician's Nephew in the weekend. But back to the Harry Potter books - like I said before I'll only read the first four books. It's a bit hard to explain why but it's mostly because they're the last children's books and the next are more serious and Harry Potter to me has always been about fun and adventure and not the dark stuff that is a lot in the final books. In a way it was inevitable that they would take a more serious path as Harry Potter grows up but still, it's the innocent, care free fantasy in the magical castle that I find most appealing.

I have now realized the limitations of this laptop or more precisely it's internet. I mean compared to my internet it's unbarebley slow. Well it's okay for articles and stuff like that but when dealing with videos or flash stuff it just takes time and my internet has spoiled me to the point that I can no longer tolerate waiting, I've forgotten how it is and I don't plan ahead. Anyway, like I've said a million times already I hope this thing is solved soon. Of course I could plug in my own net but then it would ask for the IP codes and stuff like that and then taking it would probably ask for his old ones and that would just cause more problems then solve them, at least for him :), I personally would not have a single problem with that though it would be mean.

Now I just feel really depressed. And hungry. Hopefully she'll be home soon. Admittedly this computer... laptop is only a short term solution. But hopefully that term will be over real soon. Though I admit I always thought that laptops were really cool. It's something a writer would have, to take it wherever you wanted. Unless of course it runs out of juice real fast like this thing and has to be plugged in constantly.

So since this whole thing will take at least some three hours they'll postpone the whole computer thing until tomorrow. So it will not end today but hopefully this will not take the entire weekend because soon this slow internet is gonna get on my nerves. Of course I could always put my own internet in this thing but that's a sort of last straw option right now which I'll hopefully won't have to use.

She bought me tasty chips and chocolate pastries though these seem a bit hard.
