Joy and Sorrow in Just me!

We had great joy this weekend when we went back to our historic church in Virginia to celebrate its 300th anniversary. What a wonderful time! So many historical displays, such good food, wonderful friends, beautiful sermon. The only sad part was that our dear friend Brenda, who was chair of the history committee and had done so much planning for the event, passed away this morning. We were all in shock about that! I do believe, though, that she was able to see all the festivities from Heaven and was pleased.
