On hold at Amazon because their site isn’t working properly for me. Gift Card department says the Tech support department for the Amazon website doesn’t have a phone, and a form must be emailed to them. lol Amazon’s tech support doesn’t have a phone? Got it.
I’ve been fighting something all summer, and lately I think I’ve figured some of it out. 1) Dehydration. I didn’t know I wasn’t drinking enough, and now that I am, I’ve been energy-filled and ready to hit the day. 2) Metformin’s kicking my creativity in the balls. Two pills a day leaves me without energy, without motivation, without movement. I feel almost dross with a lack of lucidity. I call it “zombie-like.” I’m sure most people would call it “regular, every day living” because I don’t know. I feel maybe I have extra energy reserves that most don’t. Or maybe I’m ignorant. I don’t know.
That being said, I haven’t written on my book. Instead I’ve worked on Magic the Gathering decks, schoolwork, reading books like Annihilation and Perdido Street Station, and trying to make the best out of my slow-slog day. Dehydration is terrifying. When you forget what you were thinking about two seconds earlier, my mind becomes like the Navidson house in House of Leaves. THAT BATHROOM DIDN’T EXIST FIVE SECONDS AGO! BUT DAMN DO I NEED TO PISS.
Anyway. My final research for one class is on tracking exclamation mark use in Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein from her initial 1818 release to her 1831 re-release, and all the special editions released afterward. This might be a matter of scanning specific passages that highlight editorial changes. Murca.
Amazon tried to find a workaround by contacting the third party seller directly, but if my shopping cart continues to show items from sellers I didn’t order items from, and the site continues to keep me from ordering from the sellers I need, then I can’t make my purchase and will have to go to another site. Woot. It wasn’t that important anyway. The phone calls were more a personal research interest than a need for a product.
