Shiloh in General

This is the creepiest place I have even been. It is a few miles from where my mother grew up, and just across the river from where my parents live now.
Only the front building still exists. It was home to a cult around 1900. Just to drive by you can feel it pushing evil toward the road.
There is a whole lot of not quite right going on, on that piece of property. Even this picture makes my skin crawl. Driving past it you never dawdle.

Some kind of end of times apocalyptic cult. Everyone donated everything to the charismatic leader. The entire "congregation" disappeared in the early 1900s. It was called "The Kingdom" back then.

It was actually in King's original hometown of Durham.
