I used to work at 660 G Street in the Gas Lamp District, I should have seen it coming.

“The claim that they are insane in particular is a terrific example of gaslighting — an abuse tactic where the perpetrator takes steps to make their victim act or feel crazy and then uses those responses as proof of the victim’s irrationality, a justification for further abuse.”

That’s a quote about North Korea but could have easily been about me. The WW of the North knows her tactics.

Another curiosity is that as a teen I owned a bike called a lamp lighter. It’s unusually tall and was once used to light gas street lamps way back when.
