Next to the Hudson (North) River in rants

Both planes and helicopters use the river as a landmark. They travel north along the route the river takes. Often they are news helicopters checking out the traffic on the highway or the GW Bridge. More often they are military - 13 just went north. Somehow, I feel less safe when they fly overhead. Even if they didn't make such a racket!

I'll bet it has something to do with patrolling the skies - keeping them safe for the superbowl. The same 13... same formation... just went north along the river, turning left/west at the GWBridge.
