Salutations in Reworking

Call me Sassy.

I am hoping that I’ll be a little less thumb-tied as I get back into the habit of writing. Staring at blank pages is a little daunting.

Sooo, who am I? What will you find in this …prosebox?

The answer I usually give to the curious: I am a stay at home mom to four children, ages 7-13. They’ve always been homeschooled, though three years ago we began utilizing Connections Academy, a virtual public school. It’s just the right amount of guidance from the school and hands on teaching for me.

I crochet. A lot. I’m decent at it, and teach others how to knit and crochet at my local library.

I’m a Christian. While my faith is strong, I don’t feel as brilliantly “on fire for Christ” as I was pre-children.

I spend a lot of my time without adult interaction.

I am lonely.

What will I write about…?

I’m not sure, to be frank. I spend a lot of time trying to chase down my thoughts–they tend to skitter like dried leaves in an autumn whirlwind.

Perhaps prosebox will provide me with a bit of a net.
