Harvey update in Muddling Through As Best I Can

We’re in a lull this morning from the rain, but large portions of our community are under water. Several friends and family members have lost their homes and possessions to the flood waters, so it’s pretty awful.
Latest news is that the storm may move back out into the Gulf of Mexico, gain strength, and return to land.
My home is still well above any flooding, but Brandon’s (my eldest) may have gotten water inside. Won’t know until the waters recede and we can go check.
