Terms to Speak

No terms to speak
No loss to leak,
No head to hang
Over the bathroom sink.

No hand to hold,
Just my hand, so cold –
My head to hang,
Time’s pressing me old.

This draping hand,
Over parted, soiled land,
Laying my head in the balance,
Chastising me as a man.

Acres of the disappointed,
Feeling less annointed;
My head shoveling madness
Directed to the masses.
