Overdubbed Fairytales

If you don’t notice
Then I won’t exist.
Perhaps I’ll run away
With tightly clinched fists.

Distancing myself
From the disappointment
That lies within;
Stereotypical of myself?
Stereotypical of men?

Broken, shattered;
Left with no fairytales
And no imagination.
Erased, overdubbed by life;
Left only with a pen.
