“Forgotten Happiness”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My lonely voice
Calls on a darkening plain.
Thoughts of getting older;
Thoughts that do remain.
People dying quickly –
Hope continues on
For a cure to this insanity –
That continues steady on.
Broken Feelings -
     Left mercifully untouched.
     Weary endings
     Finally unhutched.
My feelings are confused
  As to why things happen
  To break  family happiness
  That does sadden.
Sometimes I imagine my life
As something it’s not.
Something so happy;
Something I forgot.
