“Forever In My Arms”

Your “little spot”
Is in my arms –
To be protected
From all that harms.

No hate can endure
The love I can show you –
No one, no matter how impure,
Will their hate insist to imbue.

No matter how hard they try;
And from where’er they fly
Will they penetrate our cloak of happiness
And spoil our ethereal high.

From the moment we first met
My heart beat rapidly;
I swollowed all regret
And opened to your mastery.

Forever in my arms to be;
With hope, forever within me.
We’ll see our sunset break to day –
With mornings sweet to our natural way.
