Whisper
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Whisper softly so that I can hear.
Whisper softly so I can draw you near.
To feel your breath brush my face
Is like feeling a warm embrace.
Whisper softly so others don’t know.
Whisper softly and never let go.
Sing to me with your brilliant voice.
Cover me with your resilient force.
Whisper softly so that I can hear.
Whisper softly all your fear.
Cry your tears on my shoulder –
We’ll cry together ‘til we’re older.
Whisper softly in the moonlight
Where we’ll flourish together in what is right.
In and of one we’ll always be;
Whisper softly next to me.
