Little man turns 11 this week, so I made him a batch of my famous brownies.

  1. Prepare a batch of brownie batter as you normally would. Boxed or home made doesn’t matter. I used this recipe, minus the walnuts: https://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/the-ultimate-brownie/7c67b3a9-5f92-48e4-a029-28170d777abb
  2. Grease a brownie pan and set your oven as you would usually do.
In a microwave safe dish, melt 3 tbsp peanut butter and 1 tbsp maple syrup. Melt at 10-15 seconds at a time. Drizzle this mixture onto the brownie batter. Use a toothpick to swirl it around.
  3. Bake and then allow to cool.
  4. in a microwave safe dish, melt 2/3 cup of dark chocolate chips and 6 tbsp butter. nuke 10-15 seconds at a time.
  5. pour half of the mixture onto the brownies, and spread evenly.
  6. sprinkle a handful of crushed oreos, crushed potato chips, and crushed pretzels.
  7. Drizzle the remaining mixture on the brownies.
  8. Chill in the fridge for about 2 hours to set.
