Water water everywhere.... or nowhere!! in It's a Suhaila!

What a night. First we would have thunderstorms, then we wouldn’t, then we wuld, then we wouldn’t.

And at midnight we did, just a small little one, so I thought that we had escaped from it all despite there being a lot of it around on the south coast. Then at a quarter to five this morning.... BANG!!! Right overhead. It scared poor little Jasmine.

This went on for well over an hour, during which time it changed from being almost dry one minute to absolute hammering it down the next. I’d given up trying to sleep in the noise, so I just stood at the window for a bit, cuddling Jasmine, and watched as it (slowly) passed by us.

It finally stopped around 6am, and I managed to get a few hours sleep with Jasmine cuddled up close to me.

But now we have no water.

One of the main supply mains went pop around midnight last night, and they think some 35,000 houses and businesses in the area have no water supply this morning. Not ideal when you’ve had a sleepless night and are gasping for a cup of tea!!

Here’s what our water supply looks like. We’ve been told it will be back soon, some properties already have it back apparently. I hope it gets back as it is still a bit warm and sticky and I could do with a shower!
