Rejection and Unemployment, and my Daughter in Public

I had the interview today at 10, by three, I had a rejection email. I guess they didn’t like me. I haven’t heard anything from the phone interview I had yesterday. I didn’t realize how bad I wanted this job until I was rejected. It is a really good district, and I think I would have liked it.

In other news, Hubby is killing it in his job, we had a major storm last night. We had someone knock on the door wanting his company to get them a new roof because it was damaged. So he got a claim without even leaving the house. Then a tree hit the house next door and he talked to the people removing it and got 6 more addresses of people that might be interested. We are going to do that now.

I don’t think I mentioned it, but I did get my unemployment all sorted out and got my first week’s payment on Monday. That’s a big stress that is taken away.

In other news, my daughter will be staying with us until mid-July, then she is moving to Vegas. It’s been nice having her here for the past few days.
