Mary Celeste in General

I suppose it is morbid curiosity.

I keep hitting my favorites bar shortcut to OD. Mostly surprised to see it still functional after the panic of everyone trying to download their diaries all at the same time.

Ghost train came to mind. Oh, I know there is some behind the scenes in the shutdown of the business of OD.

But it feels like a ghost train.

Or Mary Celeste with the morning tea set out. Everything is where it was, but there are no people. Just waiting to run into the shore for the Mary Celeste, or waiting to run into the sea on the part of the ghost train.

No highlighted entries. Nothing new as we all abandon ship.

I remember listening to Ghost Train as I was mowing my lawn in base housing at NAS Whidbey Island. It seems like yesterday, but it was over twenty years ago. I remember thinking it was such a forlorn, sad song - as was most of the album August and Everything After. How do you do.
