There'll always be a certain fragility to those who have been shattered in Just me

You know i had this funny thought how we hold onto these notions, we believe the movies, the memes, the quotes that you can rebuild the shattered peices, of your heart, your soul, your being, take your pick really. That once you pick it all back up and rebuild you’ll be stronger and in a way you are but in another you have such weaknesses in those cracks. Sometimes all it takes is a breath of air in JUST the right spot and it rips open.

And the memories...... Oh god they don’t stop, they’ll keep haunting you till your dying day i’m afraid (very afraid).
How’s the saying go.... you can check out but you can never leave.

There’ll always be a certain fragility to those who have been shattered.
You can be happy however there’ll always be something, darkness, sadness, something just something missing.
You’ll be able to see past the smiles of those who suffered a similar fate as you, most of the time your eyes will meet but quickly your eyes will avert as sometimes it hurts too much to see your own pain in another. Sometimes you’ll exchange a sad knowing smile. If you are very lucky you will find a soul who will get it, who will understand like only those who’ve walked through fire and come out the other end possibly can and you’ll connect in a way that you’ll never connect with anyone else.

I was lucky in that sense.
I was also lucky to find happiness however I’ve failed to find peace with all that I am lacking, all that was stolen and replaced with destruction
