‘We are older then we thought’
On the screen of my computer is a skull, a skull much like ours, it still has a smaller browridge than early men and women, closer to Homo sapiens than Neanderthal.
This skull was find in Morocco and is 100,000 years old than previously recognized Homo sapiens, and the idea of a cradle of humanity in East Africa some 200,000 years ago is not thought now, if there a Garden of Eden it was all Africa.
Over my coffee was looking at the skull and those empty sockets, I wondered who he – her looked at, a family or a tribe, and what sort of world was around them; seen with their 300,000 years eyes!

Hard times was the norm then, getting meat then would be dangerous trip, as the meat would not be happy to go home easily ...... Winters then would be faced without warm cloths, when on the move there is evidence that the very young well killed, they would not live through though a winter walk; and some of the elders were sarcoma. I think very few of us would manage life 300,000 years ago.

Only the strong survived but I imagine Mothers still fought for their young . Hunters spent all their time hunting food and women found the shelter and gathered anything useful. Religion was nature; cold and warm, light and dark.
