I have two optimal choices for what to do today. I can listen to the 4 nights of Bisco Inferno, or I can go sit in the library and read Robert Hunter’s A Box of Rain. I’m kind of world-weary of not having much to do, or as Damon Albarn put it in Blur’s “Badhead,” “So today, I’ll get up around two / from a lack of anything to do.” But it’s not actually two (don’t worry!) It’s 8:14 AM.

I am slowly making my way through Terry Pratchett’s Discworld series. I’m on Book #19, Feet of Clay. I’d be hard-pressed to say which has been my favorite so far. Whichever one had Esk probably is.

Do you treat other people’s intellectual property with a creative commons license? I’ve been sharing pictures from an old friend’s Instagram and I have this sneaking suspicion that she wouldn’t approve. But she’s super ruff and tuff so it may be okay. In other words, I don’t think it could hurt her. And I certainly don’t desire to hurt her. Perhaps it’s some sort of sublimated thing where I should just create an Instagram account and talk to her again, but there are reasons. Plus I don’t really look like anything.

Is it really nerdy to be obsessed with computerinating? I remember when I was in college for two years prior to university, I spent a predominant amount of my waking life computing.

Live is supposedly getting back together with Ed Kowalczyk! I hope they record new songs! Here is one that I love!

I remember when I used to newsgroup that I compared Live and Tool, in that they are both really earnest. The music is different, I guess. Contrasting the beginnings of their careers, I’d venture to say Ed had less of an transgressive agenda than Maynard. But who really knows anything at all ever anymore in the entire world!!!!!
