The Move to Prosebox in Beginnings

I logged on to Open Diary for the first time in months and the entrance screen says that it is close down within two weeks. I first started writing there way back when (late 90's) and then took a long break and returned around 2004. Been writing there since though less and less over the past year. Most of it due to frustration over the failed entry uploads, the failed pages and log-ins. Open Diary allowed me to connect with so many wonderful people, some of whom I'm still in contact with.

Now comes time to learn a whole new system. On the surface I like the books option. I'd like to start writing more and I can make books to keep the stories together for those who want to follow that instead of my daily life. It will come in time.

So for those new to my diary? Is that what this is even called? Book? Journal? Eh, I'll call it my diary. What is Crossman about. Well, here is the primer so we can move forward with a common understanding of what you are reading...
