On Tuesday, my brother’s best friend was in a horrible accident. His car caught a groove in the road caused by construction and it flipped over the guardrail, rolled about ten times as it went down a hill.
He was extracted by the jaws of life and taken to the hospital with a serious concussion, a broken pelvis, five broken ribs and a punctured lung.
He is self employed, recently divorced and has no health insurance.
I’ve known him since he and my brother met at age eight. They are now both in their late 50’s. That’s a long time!
A go fund me page was started and within four days, over $20,000 has been raised. What a miracle!
So, if you are so inclined, prayers please for a speedy and full recovery. Thanks

It sounds like the city or county needs to pay his bills! I'll keep him in my thoughts.

from what I understand, this is the 5th accident in this particular construction zone and the state will be picking up the hospital bills as well as his auto insurance deductible.

Good!! The last thing that family needs is worry about bills on top of dealing with his healing. That's awesome.
