Superstition 29.4.17 in 2017 Days.

This happened 3 days back I think. We are planning to go on a tour to Malaysia and Singapore in may. So I wanted to get my picture taken for the application of visa. I went to the nearby photo studio but it was closed. I thought it was odd to close the studio during working hours. Well I went to next nearest one and it was closed too. The third was closed too. There was a lamination shop right next to that closed studio and I enquired why was the studio not open? The guy in the lamination shop told me ” it’s new moon today. No photo studio will be open in this town.” I asked him why is that and his reply shocked me. “Everybody believes that if a picture is taken on new moon day, then ghosts will appear in the studio”.
I was speechless after hearing it. But I wasn’t sure if he was kidding me or is it really true. So I went farther down the road and before I returned home through the long way, I saw neary 6 other photo studios that were closed.
That was a very weird experience.
