You can't make this stuff up... in The Mundane Ramblings of an Insane Mind

True story.

We were eating dinner a few nights ago, and my girls said something about mommy getting a ticket.

Yes, Mommy got pulled over for speeding. 80 in a 65. Fortunately, she didn’t actually get a ticket, she got off with a warning. She thought, because she has an impeccable driving record, has never had a speeding ticket, and has two really cute kids. I just think she got lucky.

But the REASON she was speeding?

She was really low on gas, so low she thought she’d run out. So she was SPEEDING home before the gas ran out!

She did make it home, fortunately. And we had a little talk about fuel economy. I still don’t think she gets it.
