I totally lovey my course. I am really glad that I am doing it. And the people that I am doing it with. I am glad to be working with Indigenous peoples from so many different first nations and then there a couple of Gubbas (white fellas) in the class, they are hippies…but they’re not too bad, she works within employment services for the governments welfare agencies helping the long term unemployed get off the dole. Someone came to her department to do cultural awareness training and she was fascinated, but working with marginalised indigenous people she decided she needed to learn more about what is going on.... she applied to her employer to do the course and they approved it. so her partner also wanted to do the course as well, and he came along too.

I’m really glad they are there because the contribute a unique perspextive to the group and bring a fresh point of view that balances everything out a bit, they can be extremely left wing and socialism type views, that can be a bit full on if you’re not used to it and haven’t heard before, but its just the way they teach, they need explain it differently. I can understand their views, and yes a lot of it does come back to money and mining. but yes there were HUGE problems in the Northern Territory and something needed to be done, its just how they went about doing it, and what they used it as,,. a vehicle for the media and the public eye, but they also took it as an opportunity to defame aboriginal peoples even more, they never tread lightly and are like a dog on a bone when they can get in there and use anything they can against them so they can steal the land from underneath their feet, and capitalise of its resources while the going is still so hot right now.

There’s also a lot about white Australian politics that is really upsetting. the ignorant arrogant white Australian that wants to rule everything and cant understand why anyone would see things a little different to them and live outside of their bubble, poor people…its like why would they choose to live like that? they bank their welfare accruing thousands upon thousands in the bank utilising all these free resources, free showers, free washing, free food so they can bank all this money, dirty bastards, why don’t they just wake up to themselves and live like normal people?

I mean how many homeless people even have bank accounts?

when was the last time you saw a homeless person standing in the que at the bank?

Anyway, I’m still really tired, I still have this grogginess that is an every day battle, I don’t know if I am winning or just kidding myself.

We’ll see.
