I close my eyes and all I see is you
You’re running through my mind
I lost myself just to realize
That I left it all behind
Your picture always smiles at me
All the while I just pretend
And every time I go to sleep at night
You’re in my arms again
I try real hard not to think of you
And the way those blue eyes fade
A reminder tearing me inside
Of those mistakes that I have made
I’m not supposed to fall in love with you
I remind myself again
That life is full of moments that
Are meant to hurt you in the end
