Life at the coast... in Talk Story

Aloha…
Last Sunday I woke up to two inches of snow on the ground here at my house… a bit unusual as we rarely get snow here on the southern coast of Oregon…
It snowed off and on most of the morning… with a little bit of rain and hail mixed in as well…
Today I woke up to fog… and quite a bit of it too… and then just for a few minutes… the sun made it’s appearance… but alas… it is foggy again…
We have had quite a bit of rain this season (112 inches between October 1st and February 28th)… with rain most of this last week…
But when the sun does come out… I head over to the ocean… something I was hoping to do today…
Oh well… it is what it is…

It is really sad that Mama Nature can't spread the moisture around a whole lot better.

Here on the Front Range we are still waiting for winter. It will surely sneak in when we least expect it.

Winter here on the coast has sure been wetter than usual...
Well... at least no drought for us...
Smiles...
