Change in plans for E3 since the flight/drive plus hotel would be costing us $500 each with too little of a notice. Kinda bummed, but we still got plans to go to other cons like PAX West and PSX Experience. We’re also looking at a new one called Betacon.
Since the trip to Michigan in December, we haven’t really been going out to do much. Finances kicked our asses and we never got any money from anyone to help with the trip (more about that in a moment). Due to us spending a bit there plus missing work days for that and winter weather in Portland, we’ve been recovering slowly when we can. It’s been sucky.
The trip was nice, for sure, but it was quickly done with the intentions that we would get some money to help out with the costs of it. We didn’t get a dime. I can overlook several things but that, I can’t, because it really screwed us over once we got back.
Thus resulting in my reluctance to visit home any time soon. We’ve got plans to hit up these upcoming cons and get our nice TV’s, but not visiting Michigan. If people want us to visit, they can pay for our flights.
