Aloha…

About 250 people were involved in the women’s march here in Brookings… a fair sized number as our population is only about 6,000…

The Washington Post even made mention of the march here:

“As they rallied, many of the marchers took to social media, apparently amazed by the sheer numbers that turned out in their cities and towns, particularly in states like Kentucky and Idaho that voted for Trump, and in tiny towns like Marfa, Texas and Brookings, Oregon that rarely muster protests.”

Aloha oe…

I think the numbers should make the Tea Party sit up and take notice. Unfortunately, they aren't bright enough to comprehend that the numbers are a sure indicator that their hold on power is by their fingertips and they should make immediate moves to be more inclusive by compromising.

Hope they did not pull all the crazy stunts that the women did in Washington D. C. Many were an embarrassment to many women that I know!
