Well, so I had Joe instruct me on how to use the DVR or DVD player or whatever it’s called. You might wonder why I didn’t know already, but I don’t watch DVDs, have no desire to, and that’s why. ;o) Geez, why the hell do they have to be so damn complicated nowadays?? I remember the VCRs we had 20-25 years ago, which were very simple. Put a video in and press
play,” for god’s sake! There’s really no reason for it to be any more complicated than that! Well okay, maybe for some people....but there ought to be an extremely simple version too.
ANYHOW, it is not easy trying to learn yoga postures by following a video, when one has a big loving dog in the room. Guinness didn’t know what in the world I was doing, so he was quite concerned! I hate to be stern with him when he’s really just puzzled! But I learned two poses or stretches, which I think will be helpful. I will do those for now and then add a few more at a time.

I’ll admit, I have been cranky and blue quite a bit over this three day weekend, because I have
been so damn sore. I realize that “fairness” hasn’t got a damn thing to do with it, but at the risk of sounding whiny, I don’t think it’s FAIR that the only times when I don’t feel sore are when I’m at work. I LOVE having days off, but even while I’m feeling excited about them I have this little iota of a niggling thought inside me saying, “Well you KNOW you are going to be sore most of the time!” But would I say I’m miserable? No. Oh, granted, I do say it sometimes! But that’s just when I’m feeling sorry for myself, which I believe we’re entitled to do so long as we don’t fill up much of our time with it. Generally speaking, I am very content. It’s just my ass and leg that are miserable! There’s nothing else wrong with me at all! It really COULD be much worse. Some people have to give up leading a full life much sooner than they feel ready to. I’m certainly leading a full life!

Ya know, a year ago I would have told you that my life was TOO FULL. It sure felt like it was! But leaving the coven and going on solitary staus within The Assembly has taken care of that 100%! Yep indeedy, I feel FABULOUS about that; my time is so much more my own now! And to me that spells FREEDOM. The only people taking up my time are the people I love! Aside from co-workers, but I love my job too and they are part of it!

It’s back to work tomorrow, and it’s another three-day-week! And guess who’s excited, even though I suppose I will be sore next weekend?? ME, that’s who! :o) !! The best parts about not having to go to work are (for me), being able to take my shower whenever I want to! Seriously! On weeknights I take mine at night. Joe takes his in the morning, always has, and if I were going to also, we’d have to get up fifteen minutes earlier. Who wants that?! But sometimes I’m just tired and don’t want to take my shower at night! Or I’d rather do something else instead. Like right now! Normally I would be showering now, but I didn’t get a chance to finish writing this today, so I’m writing it. I’m about done now, though, so I reckon I’ll go shower.

G’night!

Do people tend to migrate in and out of covens? Of the five people I am aquainted with who follow similar spiritual paths, four have left their covens and one , who has been solitary for many years, is seeking to return.

Some people stay in the same coven for decades; others switch covens in order to work with different people or do things differently. And some people prefer to be solitary. Personally, I think it's important to spend periods of time working with a group and periods working on one's own, just because you develop things you need from both ways.

yoga takes time to learn and to really get into and appreciate, learning a few poses at a time is a great way to start, Dash doesn't bother me when I am doing yoga, but the cats, omgawd they love it when I do yoga at home, they are all over me, lol,

we just got rid of the dvd bc we never use it anymore, if we want to watch a movie there is netflix and many other streaming services it seems like just another piece of electronics collecting dust,

I have to admit I love my freedom of time too,

have a fantastic day!!!

Yeah. My dog wonders what I'm doing when it's yoga time. She thinks floor time is play time. I point to another room and say 'go lay down', and she understands.
I'm told that the more we exercise/stretch over time, the less we will hurt. You used to go for long walks. I haven't been walking much until recently as we've had a bitterly cold spell. It is finally tolerable again.

I intend to take back some of my own personal walking time, when it gets warmer. I like to go walking with my sisters, but they walk slower and also less distance. So I'm going to start going on my own a lot more, especially this summer when I'm off from work!
