For one buck plus tax I got an autobiography of Jules Feiffer. Best bang for the buck ever!
I latched onto Feiffer's cartoons in the 70s and was delighted to stumble onto a play of his being done in San Francisco when we were on a trip there in the mid-70s. I don't remember a whole lot about the play, which was in a very small setting with just a few dozen in the audience, except for what became a recurring joke with my then GF: "Put on your shoes, I'll take you to the subway."
In other book news, I got "Doctor Sleep" for Xmas. Almost done and loving the update on the Shining story. I have the latest two by Nevada Barr waiting, along with a John Grisham.
Of course, still waiting for a very long time is any further work on my own novels, except a stray idea or two for advancing one plot or another. I don't bother to make notes on the ideas any more.
