My husband woke up this morning wearing panties and pajamas that I gave him from old clothes I used to wear. He has dressed that way to bed for about two weeks now and it's been fun to see him in feminine clothes at night. During the day he has been wearing panties underneath his regular mens clothes.
But today as he was getting dressed, he asked me if I still had any of my old bras that he could wear. I have been wearing binders instead of bras for some time now and I have already gotten rid of all my old bras, so unfortunately I had nothing to offer. My bras really wouldn't have fit him anyway.
I suggested we could go shopping for some bras for him, expecting him to be too embarrassed to actually do that, but he agreed. He said he really wanted to start wearing bras daily. I was kind of excited to hear that.
We went out to run some errands this afternoon and were near the mall downtown. I was considering suggesting we stop in to do some bra shopping when HE actually suggested it to me. He asked if I thought we should go to Victoria's Secret and I said that would be a good place to start.
We parked and made our way to the store. He wasn't talking much, and seemed a little nervous, but I liked that he was really ready to go through with this. The store was very busy and we started looking at a few bra styles. He said he probably wanted something with no underwire, and I suggested a tee style bra. We were walking around looking for those when a cute young thing came up and asked if we needed help. I pointed to my husband.
He looked a little embarrassed and then said he was looking for some bras. Naturally, the girl asked if he was buying a gift for someone. My husband immediately responded, "No. They are for me." I was proud of him.
She was professional about this, much like the guy who helped me buy a suit last week, and asked if he knew what size or style he wanted. They ended up talking for a while about various options. She even measured him for size and told him he would fit into a 36A. She gave him a few things to try on and of course they didn't fit him quite right. Even an A cup is loose when you have no boobs.
She suggested inserts, and came back with a package of them which cost $60. Seemed like a lot of money for just little pieces of silicone, but he loved that idea. We left the store about 30 minutes later with three bras and the inserts, and he was ecstatic.
