As of yesterday morning I weigh 175.2 pounds which means I am down 2lbs this week and I'm super psyched because it's the weight I was when my doctor weighed me for the first time when I was about 8 weeks pregnant. Yay! I still have 20 I want to lose but I'll get there.
My husband is away for 5 days right now so it's just me and the kids. He went to North Carolina with his mom to see his favorite basketball team play a game. They drove. She is not all that interested in basketball but she is single and would do anything for him so she went as my back up. I always call her his 2nd girlfriend lol. Today was day 2 without him home and it's definitely not fun having no help but then bed time comes and it is bliss. Until Miles wakes up for a feeding lol. I dragged the kids to my favorite second hand children's clothes store tonight because I heard that they were having a sale where a ton of items were just $1 each. I ended up getting 11 sweatshirts and 2 pairs of pants for Cody for $14. It's all sizes that will fit him next fall and winter. I got some really cute stuff and it's all in excellent condition so I'm happy :)
Tomorrow my aunt is having a get together for the extended family so at least I won't be alone with the kids all day. Cody should be happy to see his cousin Katelyn and get a chance to get out of the house. My only concern is I left the playpen at my moms so when Miles needs a nap I am going to have to put him on someones bed with pillows around him or something. Glad he's not really rolling yet.
Speaking of Miles, babies his age change so quickly. Just this week he discovered his feet, is suddenly interested in water bottles and he is napping better thank goodness. I tried baby food with him a couple times but he's clearly not ready as he didn't open his mouth and was blinking rapidly when some of it got into his mouth lol. I am eager to start feeding him all sorts of stuff but I guess I can wait a bit longer.
Now I must go do laundry and tidy up now that the kids are in bed.
