Worked three hours at the plumbing shop today. Had just two customers - one was a refund! - and a guy looking for directions.
Then it was the monthly teleconference, then volunteering with the kids (and getting ready for this Friday’s move - yay for the new home!), and the chickenzzz. :-)

I may have mentioned that I have ten birds and am looking to get rid of four. I want to keep the Barnevelder, the Speckled Sussex, and four of the Rhode Island Red. (They’re all production birds vs. ‘heritage’/’pure bred’ birds), but they’re quite entertaining and I get beaucoup eggs for free!

The Moon was oblong(!) as it rose in the east last night. It was an orangeish color until it got higher in the sky, but I didn’t watch it long enough to see it change to its normal white.

Thanksgiving is next week, Christmas is 39 days away, then it’s 2017!
