I don’t want to write about the election, my disappointment and dismay. But there’s no ignoring it. Disbelief turned into shock and then sorrow and anger. We now have a demagogue as a leader, a proponent of fear and hatred. We chose economy over inclusivity, equality, love, the environment. I fear for this country. I fear for the world. Most of all, I fear for those who are “other,” those who are not white, heterosexual men.

Yep. We chose money over the dignity and equality of people. Over the safety of people. Cash for people. That sums it up. And the poor fools who are celebrating aren't even going to see any of that money they think they will be getting. That is reserved for the top one percent. The rest of us are just slave labor so they can get richer.
