The storm continues in Talk Story

Aloha…

A bowl of oatmeal topped with brown sugar for dinner… wearing sweatpants and a sweatshirt… the fragrance of nag champa incense through out the house… candles ready to light in case the power goes out… and watching Thursday night football on t/v…

Outside the storm is building in intensity… over four inches of rain overnight… and the wind is quite strong… branches and leaves everywhere… trees bending as the strong gusts hit them…

We have been warned that the worst is still to come… and that by Saturday it might be pretty bad…

They (the weather people) are comparing this second round of the storm with the one that hit in October of 1962… something that I’m not looking forward to experiencing…

But for now… I’m doing just fine…

Thanks for drifting by… and for your notes to me…

Aloha oe…

Such a nest you have contrived for the storm. Good for you. What you have now is about what we did in Hurricane Matthew...four inches of rain and lots of wind. I hope it continues to be a comfy nest experience.
