It's been raining on and off all day. When it is heavy, it gets nearly deafening on the roof. Tonight's dinner was short ribs in a barley stew, with rolls. J is getting very good at making rolls, and indeed, just about any kind of bread. I need to do some more baking tomorrow.
Managed to get a review up today on The Heir Apparent, a biography of King Edward VII that I have just finished. Now I am reading* If You Lived Here I'd Know Your Name*. All three of the kitties have been very quiet today, mostly sleeping in various spots. Last night I had to go sleep in my chair as J was snoring up a storm, and I decided to give up and sleep elsewhere for some peace.
I also got sucked into looking at the Fortum & Mason website and drooling over their tea offerings. I am also trying very hard to get to the City this week. I really want to see that Korean exposition at the Met.
