Besides the whole Nathan still not having a job thing, things have been good at my house. Nathan and I are connecting. Leah has become more independent. Alex is just the best baby ever. My business is doing really well.

This job for Nathan looks like it is a for sure thing. He just has to get a security clearance. He would working for a company that does work for the military on base so they have to make sure he is who he says he is. He had to fill out a 40 page form with all the places he has ever lived, people he has known at each place, personal references etc. They told him once that is cleared he will come up to the base and get finger printed and drug tested. He’s never done a thing wrong in his life (I think he’s only had one speeding ticket his whole life-that’s the only trouble he’s ever been in) so it shouldn’t be a problem for him to pass. He asked them yesterday what time frame he would be looking at til he can start but he hasn’t heard. Hopefully it is soon.

I hate that we have had to depend on our families to get by but praise God we both have amazing families that are willing to take care of us. My parents were wanting to take us in, but that was obviously not an ideal situation with two kids. His parents still have a house here and wanted to sell it but haven’t had any luck. So they offered to let us move in there for a while. If it is going to be a couple months til he actually gets paid we will probably have to.

So Nathan and I are making a list of classic/just really good movies one or the other or both have never seen. We always end up watching the same stupid comedies over and over so we wanted to to have a list of better movies to watch after the girls are in bed. We already checked off Minority Report, Fight Club, and Groundhog Day. On the list but not checked off yet: Shawshank Redemption, Dead Poet’s Society, and American Beauty.

What are your favorites that we should add?
