Lazy Days in Talk Story

Aloha…
I had my annual physical at my doctor’s office last week… and I’m pleased to share that all is well with me…
Saturday night was our monthly get together to play the card game hands and feet…
On Sunday I was sitting out in my driveway… reading my book and enjoying the warm sunny day… when a new neighbor stopped by… I asked her if she would like to sit with me (yes) so we talked with each other for an hour or so… fun getting to know somebody new…
Yesterday I drove up to Coos bay with a woman friend… who had broken her wrist a month or so ago… she needed to have the cast removed and have the wrist x-rayed again… and being as Sunday was National Cheeseburger day… we drove over to the casino and of course had cheeseburgers for lunch… all the while sitting next to the water and watching the boats go to and fro…
Friends just called… they are driving down from Portland and would I be their guest for dinner Sunday night (yes)…
The weather is quite pleasant here on the coast… almost 70f with a light breeze perfect for working (playing) out in the yard…
All seems well with me… and like the title says… just another lazy day…

I'm glad the doctor report was good! It sounds like such a beautiful way to spend a day! With friends and making plans for more time with friends, all while enjoying gorgeous weather. We're still hitting heat indexes over 100 on some days. I'm so ready for fall weather!
